Graduation ~ Passages Program (Brunswick, ME)

I am a huge fan of Wayfinder Schools and their Passages Program, and I have had the honor of sharing live music for the Passages graduation ceremony several years running. Over the years, I have collaborated with many mothers, partners, and babies in this program as a musician working with The Lullaby Project - a Carnegie Hall program that pairs new mothers and parents with professional musicians to write lullabies for their babies. I am always in awe and admiration of the students and teachers alike.

“Wayfinder Schools offers a home-based high school diploma program called Passages. Originally designed for teen parents, Passages provides individualized instruction to students in their own homes. In addition to providing students the opportunity to earn a high school diploma, we work with them to develop the life skills, and in some cases, parenting skills, they need to become stronger, more self-sufficient members of the community.”

“In addition to graduating with a high school diploma, you will gain the skills and confidence you need to find your way forward after graduation.”
